I really like the way you're going ^_^. I love how wonderfully sensitive and intimate this piece is.

Hello my friend! Thankyou and I'm happy you like it.
Oh well :)
Very well composed. Very well played. Surprising yet constantly harmonious. It's a bit of playing a game with the listener but clearly it has been written for you, and not for other people; it's just way too intimate.
I'm certain it's one of your best songs, if not The best one.
Thankyou, nice to see you as always :-)
Very interesting
What I would do if I were you. Firstly, don't drop this experimental slash cute vocals. I would keep exploring it until I get to something truly unique (because it sounds like it definitely has a potential to go somewhere special). Secondly, I would start self-teaching myself about writing lyrics. Lyrics remain the message and soul of every song that contains vocals that are not meant to be pure Ohh/Ahh sounds. And they either make song better or bring it down. Mature, inspired lyrics brings a lot to the table, while "I just wrote this" lyrics make it difficult for serious listener to treat composer/lyricist seriously. Thirdly, I would consider working on THIS song some more to bring it to about 3 minutes or more, and (that way) work on my song-building skills.
Good luck! :)
I'm almost 11 years late with my response here, I'm sorry about that :) but after reading this I still feel I wanna say thank you for this constructive review. Take care and thanks Didgaraya.
Hm :)
Lots of great things have been already said in the comments so I would like to contribute something different, something else.
This particular song reminds me of music from two anime of Makoto Shinkai (independent anime creator) "She and Her Cat" and "Hoshi no Koe". Both can be found on youtube, if you are curious.
I've been trying to imagine what sort of scene or story this music could enrich, recreate and support, and I see it fitting perfectly to not only a loss of someone close but also to longing, to distance, to temporary lack of someone. Or melancholy/sentiment of memories from childhood or teenage years. :).
Beautiful song.
Sigh :)
Beautiful and touching song. I love how dimmed and intimate it is (especially in comparison to newground's trends).
And description... Priceless! :)
Thank you my friend.
Simply beautiful
Very, very beautiful song. And it's not as simple as author claims, I believe :) But, the part I could agree with, would be that there is plenty of beauty in simplicity.
Anyway, I'm surprised by such a low score. Personally I would be happy seeing more songs like this on newgrounds ^_^
Wow, I'm surprised to see a review here. It's been a long time since I composed this song. Thank you very much for your compliment. Hope you enjoyed it.
